A vision that started with care
Avani was born in the foothills of the Himalayas, where two lifelong friends set out to create something as pure and meaningful as their friendship. What began as a shared passion for natural wellness and thoughtful self-care soon evolved into a vision to bring the richness of Himalayan botanicals into modern skincare.
After years of studying abroad — one in the United States and the other in Australia — the founders returned to Nepal with a renewed appreciation for the country’s extraordinary natural resources. Surrounded by the purity of the mountains and the deep traditions of herbal wellness, they realized that Nepal possessed some of the world’s most powerful botanical ingredients. Yet very few skincare brands truly represented these ingredients in refined, high-quality formulations.
Recognizing this gap, they set out to create a brand that would honor Nepal’s natural heritage while meeting the standards of modern skincare. Avani was founded on the belief that nature and science can work in harmony — combining the potency of Himalayan botanicals with thoughtful formulation to create products that are gentle, effective, and deeply nourishing.
